Forgiveness and Reconciliation

Confidential · Faith-Based Options · Most Insurance Accepted

Addiction breaks people. Recovery, in Christ, mends them. This page is about the harder, holier work that begins after the substance stops.

Receiving Forgiveness

The gospel is that forgiveness is not earned. It is received. If you are in Christ, the debt is paid — regardless of what your conscience keeps replaying. "As far as the east is from the west, so far hath he removed our transgressions from us." (Psalm 103:12)

Making Amends

Where you can — say the words. Where you can pay it back, pay it back. Where restoration is not possible, entrust it to the Lord. Amends are not about making yourself feel better. They are about honoring the people you harmed.

Scripture for the Journey

And be ye kind one to another, tenderhearted, forgiving one another, even as God for Christ's sake hath forgiven you.
Ephesians 4:32 (KJV)

Forgive as He forgave — from the cross, before repentance was ever offered.

Forgiving Others

Some who hurt you were once fighting the same fight. Some were not. The Lord who forgave you gives grace to forgive them. It is often the last piece of freedom.
